ABOUT US


Food Service Distributors Association of India (FSDA) is a trade association of Distributors & Wholesalers supplying to the food service industry including the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Canteens & Caterers), Bakeries and Retail segment.

The Association was formed on 01st September, 2018 in Mumbai and the idea was to collectively build an environment conducive for growth and fair trade practices in the food service distribution business. Also, to initiate, aid & assist activities towards development of its Members and provide proactive as well as inclusive approach focused on empowering Member enterprises.

Ensure empowerment and development of Members through proactive and inclusive approach to all industry related issues and challenges.


VISION

To be the most significant and active industry platform for impacting the welfare and growth of the distributors to the Food service industry.


OBJECTIVES
  • Be the voice of the industry.
  • Assist in building business by providing valuable market insights and contacts.
  • Conduct knowledge seminars/webinars for awareness about policy changes, best practices and opportunities in the sector.
  • Common communication platform where suppliers, that is the manufacturers and the distributors can meet and interact towards common goals.
  • Provide utilities like standard formats for new account opening forms, guidance on credit worthiness, evaluation parameters etc.
  • Protect the members’ interests from unjust exploitation.
  • Act as an advisor and serve as a common platform for grievance redressal and dispute resolution between all stake holders
  • Establish an industry specific common minimum standard policy for promotion of commerce.
  • To act as a certifying body and as a rating agency for evaluating various parameters for clients, manufacturers & all stake holders.
  • Represent just causes and concerns of its members to the government & statutory bodies and to all stake holders.
